Merry Merry

Merry Xmas ya'll!

Well almost. It isn't quite here yet.

So earlier in the week I went 'last minute' shopping with my dear friend Josie. I met her at her place and had some quality time there. She and her husband Brock are amazing people! They are truly wonderful to spend time with.

Josie and I went shopping and got most of what we needed. There is always more to be done.

We had such a great time going from store to store. We had dinner and good times. I always love shopping with someone who enjoys the sport as much as I do. (She still doesn't know what I got her! LOL)

So tonight, I sit here. On the couch with my girls, in the quiet that is the eve before Christmas, I reflect on the things of this past year. There have been some downs and luckily, mostly ups. This year started with tears, uncertainty and fear. One of my girls was paralyzed at the beginning of the year due to a spinal injury. We spent all of new years eve in the emergency vet clinic. As of today she is walking on her own and has only had one small flare up. It has ended (so far) amazingly.

Who could really ask for anything more? I have a wonderful family. My friends are amazing. My dogs keep me grounded. Mr. Goodbar (as he would like to be known) has been there for me through all of it. He keeps me sane and in the real world.

The new year will start with stories that I have written through the years and with updates on my life.

I hope that you all have a wonderful holiday season! Next year will start with the story of me almost getting arrested at a strip club.

Oh yes, I am THAT girl. ;)

Love to you all!
